Banyuwangi Regent, Hj. Ipuk Fiestiandani expressed his gratitude for the presence of Enesis Group in Banyuwangi and choosing Banyuwangi as one of the regions that is part of the CSR program. “When we talk about Dengue Fever, it’s not just how we continue to carry out outreach, but there must be action, there must be real action. And this is not only done by the regional government itself, but must involve many parties, many sectors. “Everyone must be involved when we talk about health issues, there needs to be an extension of the hand down to a smaller level, namely the family.” Said the Regent of Banyuwangi.
RM Ardiantara, Head of HR and Public Relations at Enesis Group, explained that this program is a concrete step taken by Enesis Group through our brand, Soffell, in an effort to continue to increase public awareness about the importance of preventing dengue fever and chikungunya. In the midst of an alarming spike in cases, we believe that this education is not just a temporary measure, but is a long-term investment to change behavior and create sustainable habits. By targeting families directly, we recognize the central role that families play in maintaining health and increasing protection for the surrounding community. With this approach, we hope that awareness of dengue prevention will become an inseparable part of everyday life, so that the number of dengue cases can be reduced significantly.
Head of the District Health Service. Banyuwangi, Amir Hidayat, explained that dengue fever will spread widely when there are mosquitoes, secondly there are people who are bitten by mosquitoes. So the way to prevent this is to avoid mosquito bites as much as possible, which is what the government has done a lot with PSN and 3M+. “We will close water reservoirs, drain water reservoirs, and recycle used goods and the plus is avoiding mosquito bites by using anti-mosquito lotion, so thank you to the Enesis Group for providing support to all of us to control the PSN 3M Plus movement in Banyuwangi Regency.” Said the Head of the District Health Office. Banyuwangi.
The “Mosquito-Free Villages, Healthy Families and Free Movement” program will be implemented from 7 to 29 May 2024 in Srono and Muncar Districts, targeting more than 10,000 residents. Enesis Group, through its brand, Soffell, provides education through jumantik cadres with the aim of providing understanding to the public about the importance of preventing mosquito breeding through the 3M Plus Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN) approach, namely Draining, Covering and Recycling, plus the use of anti-mosquito lotion for personal protection . The hope is that this program will change people’s habits by reviving the 1 House 1 Jumantik Movement and encouraging the regular use of anti-mosquito lotion. We are confident that these steps will have a significant positive impact in preventing dengue and chikungunya.
