Indonesia is grieving again, Tsunami disaster that hit Banten on Saturday, December 22, 2018. Based on data from the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), the Sunda Strait tsunami disaster have killed 437 people, 14,059 injured, and 33,719 people displaced. Enesis Group took a quick step in responding to this disaster by providing emergency assistance for victims and refugees of the Sunda Strait Tsunami that were handed over directly by Sarmin (Banten Area Sales and Distribution Head area) to BNPB Serang, on Monday (12/24/18). Enesis Group also distributed the second phase of assistance to victims and refugees of the Sunda Strait tsunami disaster in Banten in collaboration with the Health Ministry Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health on Wednesday (12/26/18). “This tsunami disaster that struck the people of Banten was a deep sorrow that was felt by Enesis Group, because of that, this distribution of aid is one of the concrete forms of our concern for refugees,” said Elkana Lewerissa (Public Relations Head of Enesis Group). The activity which is part of the “Enesis Care” Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a manifestation of social care and the company’s commitment to consistently provide assistance to victims or refugees of natural disasters or calamities that occur in Indonesia.
