Enesis Group Participates in Continuous Improvement Convention (CIC) 2025

Enesis Group once again demonstrated its commitment to building a culture of Continuous Improvement (CI) by participating in the Continuous Improvement Convention (CIC) 2025 which was held on September 16–18, 2025 in Yogyakarta, Central Java.

This participation is one of Enesis Group’s strategic steps to broaden its horizons, strengthen its network, and increase its competitiveness through the implementation of innovation in the workplace.

Enesis Group’s participation in CIC 2025 is motivated by several main objectives, including:

  • Expanding Insights and Knowledge through new perspectives on CI strategy and implementation.
  • Learning Best Practices from other companies that have successfully implemented similar projects.
  • Benchmarking to compare performance against industry standards.
  • Networking with other industry players for future collaboration.
  • Iplementation Inspiration to develop new ideas that can be implemented within the company.
  • Team Capacity Development through hands-on experience at the convention.
  • Demonstrating Enesis’ CI Capabilities, demonstrating the company’s ability to compete with the national industry.

Enesis sent two teams from two different plants: Team Adem Sari – SEI Cikarang (4 participants and 1 facilitator) and Team Kispray – HI Pulogadung (3 participants and 1 facilitator). The two teams competed by bringing innovation projects based on PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act).

The PDCA project and the “War on Waste” initiative are efforts to reduce eight types of waste (8 wastes) at each plant. This project also emphasizes Enesis Group’s commitment to increasing production process efficiency and providing greater added value.

During the project development process and presentation at CIC, the team faced several challenges, including:

  • Time constraints due to management approvals being close to the event schedule.
  • Selecting the best projects from each plant to be presented at the national event.
  • Team training that had to be conducted in between routine work.

Despite the challenges, the Enesis Team achieved impressive results by winning Gold and Silver awards at CIC 2025. This success not only demonstrates its capabilities but also motivates us to continue innovating.

After CIC 2025, Enesis Group is committed to continuing to foster a culture of Continuous Improvement with the following steps:

  • Making CI part of every employee’s KPIs, from the lowest level (SS) to the highest level (Lean).
  • Applying CI principles not only at work but also at home and within the family environment.
  • Consistently participating in similar events, both CIC PQM and others, with a larger number of teams and a wider scope of methods, such as DMAIC, SS, TPM, Lean, and Design Thinking.
