In commemoration of ASEAN Dengue Day (ADD) which is celebrated every June 15th every year, Enesis Group together with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia collaborated to hold a 3M Plus educational roadshow targeting 12 Elementary Schools in West Jakarta City, Bogor City, Tangerang Regency and Bandung City from June 19 to July 24, 2024. The 3M Plus educational roadshow event was closed with the peak event of the 1 house 1 Jumantik March Movement and Song Competition which was held on July 31, 2024 at the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia, Central Jakarta.
In the peak event of ADD, there was a talk show session featuring Jessica Iskandar with El Barack as guest stars, Dr. Agus Handito, SKM, M. Epid from the Arbovirosis Team, the Directorate of Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases (P2PM) of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, and Louis Sumantadiredja as Soffell Brand Manager. This talk show session discussed the importance of increasing public awareness of the dangers of dengue fever because dengue fever cases in Indonesia are still a serious health problem. Therefore, to overcome this, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia is working with various parties including the Enesis Group to continue to provide 3M Plus education to the public.
In addition to the talk show, the Soffell efficacy test was also presented. This efficacy test is part of the education that directly proves the importance of self-protection by applying mosquito repellent lotion.
At the end of the event, Dr. Agus Handito, SKM, M. Epid gave his appreciation to the Enesis Group and all participants who attended to enliven ADD 2024. It is hoped that with this ADD activity, school children can become the right educational medium for school children and teachers in anticipating the increase in dengue cases and prevention efforts so that the increasing dengue cases can be reduced in order to prevent extraordinary events and even deaths.
This commemoration is an activity that will continue to be carried out by the Enesis Group and the Ministry of Health as part of a united commitment to fight mosquitoes until they are finished so as to achieve the target set by WHO, namely zero deaths from dengue by 2030.
