ENESIS GROUP through its flagship brand, Soffell, which has been around for 36 years and is now leading the market in the mosquito repellent lotion category, is back to educate the public about the importance of preventing Dengue Fever (DBD), through the “Mosquito Free, Healthy Family and DBD Free” program in Bali Province. Efforts to prevent Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopicus mosquito bites are carried out, among others, by carrying out the 3M Plus Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN) and the 1 House 1 Jumantik Movement (G1R1J). The launch of this program was opened by the Deputy Governor of Bali I Nyoman Giri Prasta and Secretary 1 of the Bali Province PKK TP, Mrs. Seniasih Giri Prasta on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at the Grand Inna Pendopo together with the CHRO of Enesis Group, Bambang Cahyono accompanied by the Deputy Mayor of Denpasar, I Kadek Agus Arya Wibawa and Mrs. Ayu Kristi Arya Wibawa, Head of the Bali Provincial Health Office, Denpasar City and Gianyar City and the Heads of OPDs in the Bali Provincial Government, Denpasar City, Gianyar Regency and Badung Regency.
The Deputy Governor of Bali, I Nyoman Giri Prasta said he was grateful to Enesis Group and its brand Soffell, for helping the island of the gods that we love together and we will ensure that Soffell will be one of the souvenirs for people when visiting Bali.
Compared between 2023, dengue fever cases in Bali were higher in 2024, but today we are trying and praying, collaborating with the Bali Provincial Health Office, Regency and City, supported by all stakeholders, so that dengue fever deaths in Bali can be 0%. We are sure and believe that this movement can minimize dengue fever cases in Bali Province.
RM Ardiantara, Head of Public Relations of Enesis Group explained that Enesis Group through the Soffell brand believes that the key to reducing dengue fever cases is to change people’s behavior to be more concerned about health and environmental cleanliness. “Therefore, we continue to strive to provide education on PSN 3M Plus. Closing, Draining, Recycling and using mosquito repellent lotion. We hope that this education is not just a temporary effort, but a long-term investment so that awareness of dengue fever prevention will become part of everyday life and can reduce the number of dengue fever cases significantly.” Ardiantara said.
Head of the Bali Provincial Health Office, Dr. dr. I Nyoman Gede Anom, M. Kes said that the most important thing is that we continue to do 3M plus. We will propose that the vaccination program is a national program and free of charge. But currently we are still doing 3M plus using mosquito repellent lotion before going to bed, that is the most important plus.
The “Mosquito-Free, Healthy Family and Dengue-Free” program is an initiative of the Enesis Group which aims to provide education on dengue fever prevention efforts directly to the community at the lowest level, namely villages/sub-districts and families. This program will run from April 2 to June 7, 2025 in Denpasar City, West and South Denpasar Districts, Badung Regency, South Kuta District and Gianyar Regency, Ubud District.
With support from the Bali Provincial Government, Enesis Group through the Soffell brand plays an active role in educating the community regarding the prevention of mosquito-borne diseases, especially dengue fever through the integrated PSN 3M Plus program and the 1 House 1 Jumantik Movement.
Enesis Group encourages the community to routinely take preventive measures, such as draining water reservoirs, tightly closing water containers, recycling used goods that have the potential to become breeding grounds for mosquitoes, and protecting themselves by using Soffell mosquito repellent lotion which provides maximum protection from mosquito bites. And it is very important to ensure that every household independently carries out routine mosquito larvae checks and surveillance, so that dengue prevention can run more effectively and sustainably.
We believe that with good collaboration between the government, the community, and the private sector, this effort will have a significant positive impact in creating a healthier environment free from the threat of dengue fever.
