ENESIS GROUP through its brand Soffell together with the Yogyakarta Special Region Government (DIY) launched the “Mosquito Free, Healthy Family, and Dengue Free” program as a real form of the private sector’s commitment to public health. This program is not just a ceremonial campaign, but a measured, structured intervention that directly touches the household level.
This program received full support from the DIY Government and was officially opened by the Governor of DIY, Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X on Monday, May 19, 2025, at the Royal Ambarrukmo Hotel Yogyakarta. Accompanied by the Regional Secretary (Sekda) of DIY, Drs. Beny Suharsono, M.Sc., Mayor of Yogyakarta, Dr. (H.C) dr. Hasto Wardoyo, Sp.OG(K), and the DIY Police Chief represented by Kombes Pol Adi. In addition, the Heads of the City and Regency Health Services throughout DIY were also present.
Meanwhile, from Enesis Group, also present were Enesis Group CEO, Aryo Widiwardhono, along with executives, namely Enesis Group CMO, Jo Selahap Semidang, Enesis Group CHRO, Bambang Cahyono, Enesis Group CFO, Ronny Widjaja, Head of HR & PR, RM. Ardiantara, and Soffell Senior Brand Manager, Louis Sumantadiredja.
This program aims to educate the people of Yogyakarta about the importance of preventing dengue fever (DBD). Efforts to prevent Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus mosquito bites are carried out through the application of the Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN) method with the 3M Plus approach, as well as strengthening the 1 House 1 Jumantik Movement (G1R1J).
Educational Intervention from House to House
This program targets more than 50,000 residents spread across the Yogyakarta City area (Umbulharjo District), Sleman Regency (Prambanan District) and Gunung Kidul Regency (Wonosari District) by involving 270 Jumantik cadres. This activity is carried out door to door to educate the public, distribute Soffell products, check for mosquito larvae and provide direct understanding of the implementation of the 3M Plus PSN.
Head of the DIY Health Office, drg. Pembajun Setyaningastutie, M.Kes, said that major changes will not occur without changes in mindset and behavior. He emphasized, “The main problem in overcoming diseases such as dengue fever is behavior. Clean and healthy living behavior is the main key. Collaboration with the private sector, such as Enesis Group through the Soffell product, is a real example of synergy in supporting public health. In the future, it is hoped that this collaboration can expand to various sectors”.
From a Small Idea to a National Movement
In his reflective and inspiring speech, Enesis Group CEO, Aryo Widiwardhono reiterated the history of the company’s founding which began with the anxiety of a young man from West Java who was disturbed by mosquito bites in his boarding house. “Dengue fever is not just a disease, it is about the survival and resilience of the family. From that personal experience, Soffell was born. And today, we do not only educate. This is our commitment: building awareness from house to house, because we believe that the family is the first line of defense for health.” Aryo said.
He also emphasized that this approach is not rhetoric. Previous program simulations recorded an increase in the Free Larvae Rate (ABJ) from 95% to 99% and a decrease in positive houses for larvae by 80% – indicators of effectiveness that speak for themselves.
Deep-Rooted Cross-Sector Collaboration
Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X, in his statement, emphasized that this program is an ideal model for deep-rooted, down-to-earth, and impactful cross-sector synergy.
“The ‘Mosquito-Free, Healthy Family, and Dengue-Free’ program is a real form of collaboration between the private sector and government in facing the challenges of mosquito-borne diseases, especially dengue fever. Through education, empowerment of mosquito larvae cadres, and the 3M+ movement, this program is an important part of efforts to create a healthy environment and an empowered community. We appreciate Enesis Group’s support in strengthening the health resilience of the DIY community.”
Education as Social Investment
As a representative of Enesis Group’s public communication, RM Ardiantara, Head of HR & PR, emphasized that this program is a form of long-term social investment.
“We believe that dengue fever prevention is not just about medication, but must start with awareness and education about the implementation of PSN 3M Plus and the use of Soffell mosquito repellent lotion as a simple but impactful preventive measure. We hope that this education will form a new habit that is rooted in the collective consciousness of the community,” he said. “We believe that health education is not just information, but an investment. Investment in forming a generation that is more aware, more responsive and more prepared to face the threat of diseases such as dengue fever. Through this program, we want to prove that change can start from home, from one family, from the jumantik cadres who knock on the door, greet and educate,” concluded RM Ardiantara.
Enesis Group is not just present as a producer of health products, but as an active partner of the government and community in forming a sustainable healthy lifestyle culture. Every product we produce—Soffell, Antis, to Adem Sari—starts from the simple but profound philosophy of “Healthy Product for Healthy Family“.
We believe that significant change starts from small steps that are applied consistently in everyday life at home. Through this movement, we are not only sharing products, but also trying to raise awareness, form positive habits, and strengthen family resilience as the main foundation for the nation’s progress, said Ardiantara.
