Enesis Group, PT. Sari Enesis Indah Plant Cikarang and Dunia Rasa Indah conducted a blood donation social activity in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Cibitung. This activity will be held on August 24 2023 at 09:00 – 12:00 at Lobby Plant 2.
Blood donation is one of the routine activities at the Cikarang Plant which is held every 3 months, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic the implementation of this activity was stopped. After the government announced the end of the pandemic, the HRGA department and the company’s medical team reactivated these activities. Dr. Melly Fadhilah Harahap, M.KKK as the Cikarang Plant clinic doctor stated that “blood donation has many benefits, in addition to increasing the sense of socialization of workers towards others, it is also very beneficial for health, including maintaining heart health, increasing red blood cell production, burning calories and can detect disease early because every donor will be checked for blood pressure, hemoglobin, blood type and also checks for hepatitis B, hepatitis C, HIV and syphilis”.
This blood donation social action begins with registering, filling out a screening form, then taking anamnesis by a doctor, then checking blood pressure, checking hemoglobin and blood type. If the condition is good, continue taking approximately 350 cc or 450 cc of blood (according to the examining doctor’s recommendation). After completing the blood collection, the donor is asked to lie down for a while to ensure that he is in good condition and does not feel dizzy. After confirming that the condition is good, then print the blood donor card and participants who have donated blood will receive a gift in the form of a snack. This process takes approximately 30 minutes.
The enthusiasm of the employees in participating in blood donation was very good. The total blood bags obtained were no less than 40 bags within 3 hours with various blood types, namely blood groups A, B, AB and O. The hope is that with this blood donation activity, hopefully more Another employee who participated in donating blood to help others.
