Enesis Group, through its flagship brand Adem Sari, has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the preservation of local culture. On Saturday night (17/5), Enesis took part in the 2025 Rujak Uleg Festival held at the Surabaya Expo Center (SBEC), as part of a series of events to commemorate the 732nd Anniversary of the City of Surabaya (HJKS).
This annual festival initiated by the Surabaya City Government carries the theme “The Legend of THR”, reviving the collective memory of residents of the glory of the People’s Entertainment Park, a legendary icon of the city of Surabaya. The strong vintage feel is a magnet of nostalgia for the thousands of visitors who filled the event area.
One of the main attractions in this celebration is the giant mortar, which is symbolically used by the guests of honor to pound the rujak together. This moment not only strengthens traditional values, but also becomes a visual icon that depicts the spirit of collaboration and cultural preservation.
Interestingly, the 2025 Rujak Uleg Festival was again selected as one of the 110 Kharisma Event Nusantara (KEN) by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia. Rujak cingur, as a typical Surabaya culinary, has also been designated as an Intangible Cultural Heritage, emphasizing the importance of this festival as a driver of the creative economy as well as a protector of cultural values.
“This is a form of our support for events that preserve local traditions. Adem Sari is here to provide a perfect sensation of freshness, especially in a celebratory moment like this,” said Latif Hendra Sukmana, Head of Brand Activation Enesis Group.
Latif added that through its participation in the 2025 Rujak Uleg Festival, Enesis Group hopes to make a positive contribution to the preservation of Surabaya’s culinary cultural wealth, as well as introduce Adem Sari products as a refreshing solution for the body, especially when enjoying strong and spicy foods.
“This is a real manifestation of our commitment to maintaining and celebrating Indonesia’s culinary identity, while continuing to present innovation in the form of products that are relevant and needed by the community,” he concluded.
In closing, RM Ardiantara, Head of Public Relations Enesis Group, emphasized that Enesis’ participation in the Rujak Uleg Festival is a reflection of the values held by the company.
“Enesis Group is a company that continues to innovate in presenting quality products for the Indonesian people, in accordance with our tagline ‘Healthy Product for Healthy Family’. One of them is Adem Sari, which is not only refreshing, but also a perfect accompaniment when eating spicy cuisine—it is definitely cooling and definitely refreshing. Through cultural moments like this, we want to continue to be closer to the community, while maintaining harmony between modern innovation and local cultural roots.”
With this spirit, Enesis Group not only introduces products, but also invites the community to celebrate cultural heritage through refreshing and meaningful experiences.
