Enesis & PJAS BPOM: Safe, High Quality, & Nutritious

Involving 5000 students, 250 canteen managers, school committees and the mass media, PT Sari Enesis Indah shows its consistency to guide the PJAS BPOM RI campaign through the program of “My Healthy World: Towards a Golden Generation That Is Healthy and Qualified

Jakarta, March 14th, 2013 – The threat of unhealthy snacks, especially the snacks schoolchildren become the considerable concern to Food and Drugs Supervisory Agency or Badan Pengawasan Obat Dan Makanan (BPOM). Since the launching of the National Action Plan of Children’s School Food Snacks or Rencana Aksi Nasional Pangan Jajanan Anak Sekolah (PJAS) by the Vice President of Indonesia on January 31st, 2011, PT Indah Sari Enesis has also committed to support the efforts of the BPOM to socialize safe, qualified and nutritious food snack as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility which has been consistently implemented since 2011.

With the theme of “My Healthy World – Towards a Golden Generation That Is Healthy and Qualified” in 2013, the synergy of PT Indah Sari Enesis and BPOM is realized through the activity of PJAS socialization Road show held at 50 elementary schools in Jakarta and Bandung staring from January 21st to April 5th, 2013.

According to Roy Sparringga as the Deputy of Monitoring Food Safety and Hazardous Materials of BPOM, the partnership program established by PT Indah Enesis Sari does not only aim to provide education to the students through the entertaining communication and in an interesting way, but it also provide information to teachers, school committees, canteen manager , and the food snack vendors on the importance and the procedures to serve safe, qualified and nutritious food snack for children in the school environment.
To publish the program of “My Healthy World” the Press Conference activity was held on January 22nd, 2013 in Jakarta and followed on March 14th, 2013 in Bandung. It is expected that the involvement of the mass media both nationally and locally, the objectives of the program of “My Healthy World” that tries to provide safe, qualified and nutritious food snack for school children can be communicated to wider scope of community. The response shown by the media was quite positive, it can be seen from the news that published in both printed version, online, and electronic discussing about the execution of CSR program “My Healthy World”.
In addition to the primary school road show, the commitment of PT Sari Enesis Indah in guiding PJAS campaign will be realized in teacher seminars and media, review of the award for safe food snack in the school canteen, PJAS festivals and other communication activity in social media and mass media until the end of 2013.
