Lets Prevent Heat Stroke
The weather is very hot lately being hit by Japan. In fact, as reported by Sindonews.com, the weather which reached 40.7 degrees has claimed around 30 people. Even though it's not as hot as summer in Japan today, tropical countries like Indonesia also need to be aware of weather that is too hot and scorching, because if it lasts a long time, it can affect one's physical condition and health. An example of the impact of very hot weather is the heat exhaustion. Usually heat exhaustion starts with having symptoms of dizziness, headaches, and sweating in large amounts.
The condition that is more severe than the heat exhaustion, is heat stroke. Heat stroke is a medical emergency that is quite serious and if not treated immediately, it can cause damage to the brain and other organs. Usually a hot attack is followed by a body temperature above 39 degrees, the skin dries up, and unconscious or fainted.
Extreme hot temperatures coupled with high humidity and lasts long can be dangerous for humans and can even cause death. Although it can be dangerous, heat stroke can actually be prevented and can be predicted. The following are steps to prevent heat stroke:
1. Wear lightweight, brightly colored clothes on hot days
2. At any time, always use a sunscreen with a high SPF of at least SPF 50 so the skin does not burn.
3. Do not move too heavily during hot weather, especially if the activity is done outdoors (outdoor).
4. Always drink 2 liters of water per day so that the body is not dehydrated.
5. In addition, drink beverages that have high electrolyte levels such as Coolant. Coolant is an ionic and conditioning drink that contains natural minerals such as sodium, potassium, and magnesium which are effective in eliminating thirst quickly and promoting circulation. Not only that, the chysanthemum flower content naturally functions to remove heat and heat due to changes in body temperature so that the body can cool again. Eating coolants at any time, especially when it's hot, is a practical solution to prevent yourself from being attacked by heat stroke.
